Last updated October 14, 2026
This policy explains how Lerent handles personal information.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, password (stored securely), and sign-in through Google if you choose it.
- Tenant profile: phone, date of birth, employer, income, emergency contact, vehicle, pets and notes you choose to add.
- Payment details: bank name and only the last 4 digits of your account number. Full account numbers are not stored.
- Lease, rent, deposit, repair, message and document records.
- Basic technical data such as device and browser type, needed to run the service.
How we use it
- To run the app, track rent and repairs, and connect owners with tenants.
- To send rent reminders and service emails.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud.
Who can see it
Tenants see only their own lease information. The owner and invited managers can see information about their properties and tenants. We do not sell personal information. We use trusted hosting and email providers to operate the service.
How long we keep it
We keep records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax or rental record-keeping, then delete them.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile at any time, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by contacting us through lerent.org.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and access is limited by account role.
Children
Lerent is not intended for anyone under 18.
